Saška Marinković (42), mother of three, tragically died in a traffic accident yesterday on the Paraćin-Zaječar highway, after a direct collision between an „Audi“ and an „Opel“ in which she was a passenger.
The accident occurred on January 11 around 5:30 pm in the village of Savinac on the mentioned highway, most likely due to excessive speed. The deceased Saška was in the „Opel“ with the driver (64) who unfortunately also died from his injuries. The 36-year-old driver of the „Audi“ also died from the impact, leaving behind three children.
„I am very sorry that this happened. Saška was a wonderful woman and a devoted mother. From what I heard, she was returning from a funeral in Bor, where she was originally from. This is a great tragedy,“ says a source who claims to be well-informed.
„She had two children from her first marriage, who are now teenagers. A few years ago, she found a wonderful man with whom she had a daughter in June 2023, I think it was then. They were thrilled about the arrival of the child and got along very well. It’s sad to think if the girl will remember her mother when she grows up. Extremely sad,“ the source added.
According to the source, the family of the deceased woman is inconsolable, as reported by Kurir.
„They received the news that they lost her very hard. It was a shock that they are still in. I will go to offer my condolences, but I don’t have the strength. It’s difficult for me. I talked to other neighbors, and nobody can believe that we won’t see her anymore,“ the source said, adding that Saška was always smiling and cheerful, despite life not always being fair to her.
